One of the famous Hong Kong Wanton Mee restaurant has set foot in Penang. Opening their first Malaysia branch in Gurney Paragon, 5th floor. Tasty restaurant mainly served an a la carte menu of their chef specialities, wanton noodles, congee and a wide variety of dim sum selection. Bagging the title of being a One Star Michelin restaurant for their wanton noodles and delectable soup rich with the sweetness of prawns and pork taste. The quality of the wanton is similar to the one we tasted in Hong Kong airport. Most of their wanton are freshly made with their fresh ingredients directly flown in from Hong Kong.

Sinful weekend ..I purchased five coupon vouchers from Groupon to try out Ding Charcoal BBQ & Steamboat in Straits Quay for the weekend. Each table has 2 hobs, one for the BBQ and the other one for the steamboat. The restaurant uses a smokeless charcoal grill and a two soup pot for each table. It would be recommended to have 4 people per table. They also use the kanban belt as the chain to transport food.
Being the first customer, we were all excited waiting for the food to start coming onto the chain. First, was the sauces. They have 4 different type of sauces (Red Chilli/Red Chilli with garlic/Green Chilli/Red sweet sauce) and 1 fried garlic. Followed by different type of vegetables….
Stacks Burger has been around for quite some time now. Since the burger craze has yet to die down, we decided to make time to try out their burgers. It was originally located near the infamous UMNO building but have moved to Siam Road.
Their menu is fairly simple, which by default consists of a Smoked BBQ Pork Burger Patty and Charcoal Burger Bun priced at RM8.80.
