US Pizza @ Lorong Delima 1, Greenlane, Penang

What first came to my mind when we first visited this place is US pizza is originated from US. Is only at one’s rightful mind that they will think that way. So I decided to google and do some research about the place :) The place is very well decorated with car plates from all around the States and New York Statue of Liberty. The colour and designs are so catchy that you tricked yourself in believing that you are actually eating your lunch somewhere in the States. :) *Slaps!!! Back to reality*. The background and table cloth is covered with hot spicy red colour with red lights to match :)

Another US Pizza restaurant pop out located at Gujarat,India instead of the one in Penang, Malaysia. Well be sure you check properly the right restaurant before placing your orders :) Else, someone else might get it :P. I also looked thru their menu, not the same too hence they are not franchise.

For any promotion, you can check out their FB page. I couldn’t find their official website. They also have their promotions display outside their shop. Be sure to check it out before ordering :)

Mushroom Soup (RM5.50)

The chopped mushroom is too little.Taste wise, it is slightly salty and not very creamy. A richer mushroom taste and sprinkle of black pepper and cheese powder would do the trick.

Crazi Garlic Twist (RM3.50)

One trick, Dipped the garlic twist into the soup to make the soup nicer. :) LOL.. On its’ own is so perfectly crust /chewy and bouncy, freshly baked with the spread of garlic butter. YUMMY! MUST TRY!

New York Wings (RM12.50)

The chicken wings are very well marinated but slightly spicy. Comparable to the buffalo wings in TGIF and the portion is alot for the price. Good to try for those who loves spiciness and excitement :P Is finger licking good :)

Macho Meat Lover (Beef) Regular Pizza (RM23.95)

I am one huge fan of meat lover, well Chase is otherwise. *ngek ngek* I’m sure people can tell by looking at our appearance. HAHAHAH! Oh well, blame it on the genes. I made the call this round to order this. Served on a wooden board, top with Beef or Chicken pepperoni/ Chicken Ham / Chunky Chicken /Ground Beef onto the tomato paste sauce and the slight burn original hand tossed crust. :) with a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese. They are very generous on the ingredients, yummy and not cheesy too. We didn’t mind the burnt crust and outlook as long as the crust is crispy, we end up dipping the side of the crust into our soup anyway.

The place in Greenlane is abit small and the furnitures look abit old. Not too many customers dining in but alot of take away orders. Good environment for reunion/ birthday parties / and chit chat. They also have another outlet at Nagore Road and delivery services for both outlets. They do NOT serve pork and alcohol!

For delivery services :

  • Nagore outlet: Georgetown, Pulau Tikus and Tanjong Bunga
  • Greenlane outlet: Island Glades, Jelutong, Gelugor, Sg. Nibung, Farlim, Air Itam, Bayan Baru and Bayan Lepas (factory area) (not including Batu Maung, Sungai Ara, and Relau areas)
